Charlotte Black Car Service Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Below are answers to our most frequently asked questions to help you plan your travel with ease. From booking procedures and fleet details to pickup instructions and cancellation policies, you will find all the information you need to ensure a smooth, comfortable journey with our premium car service.

Can we bring Food / Drinks?

No.  To help maintain a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for every passenger, 1776CLT does not permit food, snacks, coffee, soft drinks, or other non-approved beverages inside our vehicles. Bottled water is permitted and complimentary bottled water is provided. Passenger-supplied alcoholic beverages are governed by a separate policy and may be permitted only where allowed by law. Please see our alcohol FAQ below for North Carolina and South Carolina requirements.

Can we bring Beer, Wine, Liquor?

IT DEPENDS

Can passengers bring and drink their own alcohol in a 1776CLT vehicle in North Carolina?

Yes, under North Carolina law, adult passengers in a legitimate for-hire passenger vehicle may generally possess an open container and consume certain alcoholic beverages while riding. For 1776CLT, passenger-supplied beer and unfortified wine, including most ordinary table wines, Champagne, and sparkling wine containing 16% alcohol by volume or less, may be consumed by passengers age 21 or older while traveling in North Carolina. North Carolina’s open-container law specifically provides an exception for passengers in vehicles designed, maintained, or used primarily to transport people for compensation.

1776CLT does not sell or provide alcoholic beverages. Any permitted alcohol must be supplied and owned by the passenger. We recommend that passengers open, pour, and handle their own beverages rather than asking the chauffeur to serve or mix drinks.

Can passengers drink liquor, bourbon, vodka, tequila, or mixed drinks in the vehicle in North Carolina?

No. Our North Carolina BYOB policy does not permit passengers to open or consume spirituous liquor or fortified wine in the passenger compartment. This includes beverages such as bourbon, whiskey, vodka, tequila, rum, gin, and similar distilled spirits. North Carolina law separately prohibits transporting fortified wine or spirituous liquor in the passenger area unless it remains in the manufacturer’s unopened original container, except in circumstances involving a qualifying Common Carrier Vehicle Permit.

Passengers may transport their own lawfully purchased unopened liquor when permitted by law, but it must remain unopened during the trip. 1776CLT also treats liquor-based canned cocktails and premixed spirit drinks as liquor products for purposes of our company policy, even when they resemble beer or hard seltzer.

What is considered unfortified wine in North Carolina?

North Carolina defines unfortified wine as wine containing 16% alcohol by volume or less and produced through qualifying fermentation processes. Most ordinary table wines, many sparkling wines, and Champagne fall within this category, although passengers should check the label if they are unsure. Fortified wines containing more than 16% alcohol are treated differently and are not permitted to be opened or consumed in our vehicles.

Does 1776CLT provide or sell alcohol?

No. 1776CLT does not sell alcoholic beverages, include alcohol with a reservation, or operate as a mobile bar. When alcohol is legally permitted, it is strictly BYOB and passenger supplied.

North Carolina does have a separate Common Carrier Vehicle Permit that can authorize qualifying carriers to sell or serve alcoholic beverages on certain journeys of 75 miles or longer, subject to specific regulatory requirements. That is different from our normal passenger-supplied BYOB policy.

Do passengers have to be 21 to drink alcohol in a 1776CLT vehicle?

Yes. Anyone possessing or consuming alcohol during a reservation must be 21 years of age or older, and identification may be requested when age is uncertain. North Carolina law prohibits unlawful possession or consumption by persons under 21 and also creates penalties for adults who assist underage persons in obtaining or consuming alcohol.  Alcohol is not permitted on reservations involving underage groups such as prom transportation, regardless of whether an adult made or paid for the reservation.

Can 1776CLT stop passengers from drinking even if alcohol is otherwise legal?

Yes. Allowing passenger-supplied alcohol is a privilege and remains subject to company discretion. Alcohol consumption may be stopped if passengers become excessively intoxicated, disruptive, unsafe, threatening, destructive, interfere with the chauffeur, damage the vehicle, or create an unsafe environment. Passengers remain responsible for spills, excessive cleaning, biological cleanup, or damage resulting from alcohol consumption.

South Carolina Alcohol Policy

Can passengers drink beer or wine in a limousine, black car, SUV, or passenger van in South Carolina?

No. 1776CLT does not permit passengers to consume alcohol while the vehicle is traveling in South Carolina.

South Carolina law prohibits possession of an open container of beer or wine in a motor vehicle on a public highway except when the container is stored in the trunk or luggage compartment. The current statute applies to a motor vehicle “of any kind” and does not contain a general limousine or for-hire passenger exemption. For that reason, beer, wine, Champagne, and similar beverages must remain closed and properly stored while the vehicle is operating in South Carolina.

Can passengers drink liquor in a 1776CLT vehicle in South Carolina?

No. South Carolina law also restricts opened liquor in motor vehicles and separately prohibits drinking alcoholic liquor in a public conveyance. Opened distilled spirits generally must be transported in a trunk, luggage compartment, or separate cargo area rather than in the driver or passenger compartment. 1776CLT therefore does not permit the consumption of bourbon, whiskey, vodka, tequila, rum, gin, cocktails, or other distilled spirits while traveling in South Carolina.

What happens on a trip that starts in North Carolina and enters South Carolina?

Passengers may follow our North Carolina BYOB policy while the vehicle is legally operating in North Carolina. Alcohol consumption must stop before the vehicle enters South Carolina.  For trips from Charlotte into destinations such as Fort Mill, Rock Hill, Tega Cay, York, Clover, or other South Carolina communities, passengers should close their beverages before crossing the state line. Any remaining alcohol must then be transported and stored in accordance with South Carolina law.  The same principle applies whenever a trip enters another state. Alcohol laws vary by jurisdiction, and the laws of the state in which the vehicle is currently operating control.

Can unopened alcohol still be transported in South Carolina?

Generally, lawful unopened alcohol may be transported, subject to South Carolina’s transportation requirements. Passenger-owned liquor transported in a vehicle for hire is specifically addressed by South Carolina law, but opened containers are subject to stricter storage restrictions.

As a company policy, 1776CLT may require alcohol to be placed in the vehicle’s luggage or cargo area whenever necessary to comply with applicable law.

What is 1776CLT’s overall alcohol policy?

1776CLT allows responsible, passenger-supplied alcohol only when permitted by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the vehicle is traveling. We do not sell or provide alcohol. All passengers consuming alcohol must be at least 21 years old, alcohol is prohibited on youth and prom transportation, and the chauffeur remains alcohol-free at all times.

North Carolina and South Carolina have substantially different open-container laws, so passengers should never assume that alcohol permitted during the North Carolina portion of a trip may continue to be consumed after crossing into South Carolina. Laws can change, and 1776CLT reserves the right to maintain policies that are more restrictive than state law when necessary for passenger safety, vehicle protection, or regulatory compliance.

Do I need to schedule my black car service in advance?

Yes. 1776CLT operates by advance reservation only. A valid credit card is required to secure and confirm all reservations. Because our transportation is prearranged, we can plan the vehicle, chauffeur, pickup timing, traffic conditions, flight details, and any special requests before the trip begins.

We recommend booking airport transportation at least 24–48 hours in advance whenever possible, corporate transportation several days ahead, and weddings, proms, concerts, and other special events several weeks or even months in advance during busy seasons. Last-minute requests are welcome when availability allows, but we cannot guarantee a vehicle on short notice. Booking early gives you the best chance of securing your preferred vehicle, pickup time, and any special services such as child car seats or Meet & Greet transportation.

Do I get a payment receipt after the trip, will the driver provide me with one?

Yes. An itemized payment receipt will be emailed to the email address on your reservation after your trip is completed.  For most reservations, your receipt will be sent by our Accounts Department within 2 business days after your trip. Because all charges including tolls, parking, wait time, gratuities, or other applicable fees are reviewed and finalized by our office, chauffeurs do not provide printed or emailed receipts at the time of service.

For certain flat-rate transfers where payment is made using contactless (NFC) payment in the vehicle, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a tap-to-pay credit card, a payment receipt may be issued immediately upon processing.  If you have not received your receipt within two business days, please contact our office, and we will be happy to resend it.

What Is Considered a Black Car Service?

A black car service is a professionally operated, prearranged transportation service using commercially insured vehicles and professional chauffeurs. Despite the name, the vehicle does not literally have to be black. Modern black car fleets may include luxury SUVs, executive sedans, Ford Transit vans, Sprinter-style vans, and other professionally equipped passenger vehicles in black, white, or other appropriate colors.

What separates professional black car service from a taxi or rideshare is primarily the way the transportation is arranged and operated. Reservations are typically made in advance, pricing is provided before the trip, and the company knows the pickup location, destination, passenger requirements, and requested vehicle ahead of time. Airport reservations may also include flight monitoring, child car seats, Meet & Greet service, or other special arrangements.

A legitimate black car company operates commercially licensed and insured vehicles designed for passenger transportation and uses professional chauffeurs rather than relying on personal vehicles and casual drivers. For customers, this creates a more predictable experience with a reserved vehicle, known pricing, professional service, and transportation planned specifically around their trip.

Do I need to call and confirm my reservation?

Yes. We will contact you 1–2 days before your scheduled reservation to confirm your trip details, including the pickup time, pickup location, destination, and any special instructions.  If you have not received a confirmation call or message by the day before your reservation, please contact our office as soon as possible so we can verify your reservation and ensure everything is ready for your scheduled pickup.  Our confirmation process helps prevent scheduling errors and ensures that both you and your chauffeur have the most accurate and up-to-date trip information.

Do you take into consideration solo female travelers?

Yes. The safety and security of our passengers is a top priority. For clients traveling alone, including solo travelers, women traveling alone, and parents traveling with children, we can provide the chauffeur’s name, vehicle description, license plate number, and direct mobile phone number before pickup so you know who and what to expect.

Passengers are always welcome to share their trip details, chauffeur information, vehicle information, and estimated arrival time with family members, friends, colleagues, or executive assistants for additional peace of mind. At 1776CLT, our professional chauffeurs complete background checks and drug testing, and our vehicles are commercially licensed and insured in accordance with applicable North Carolina requirements. We are committed to providing safe, professional, and dependable private transportation for every passenger we serve.

If I book my reservation well in advance, do you still need my credit card info?

Yes. A valid credit card is required to make and confirm every reservation with 1776CLT. Our reservation system cannot process or hold a booking without a valid credit card on file. Once your reservation is completed, you will receive a reservation confirmation email through our secure reservation system, Limo Anywhere. Please carefully review the pickup date and time, pickup and destination locations, passenger information, vehicle selection, flight information when applicable, and any special requests or instructions such as convertible child car seats.

If any information is incorrect or needs to be updated, please call our office or reply directly to your confirmation email with the requested changes. Reviewing your reservation promptly helps us make sure every detail is accurate before your scheduled trip and allows us to prepare the vehicle, chauffeur, and any requested equipment in advance.

Are not all sedan (Charlotte Black Car / Charlotte Black Truck) services basically about the same?

Not necessarily. Choosing a professional black car service or limousine company involves more than comparing prices. When selecting a transportation provider in Charlotte, it is important to consider the company’s years of experience, reputation, commercial licensing and insurance, proper For-Hire registration, chauffeur screening, fleet condition, vehicle maintenance, customer support, reservation and dispatch systems, and overall customer satisfaction.

The lowest price does not always provide the best value. A professionally operated transportation company invests in licensed and insured vehicles, experienced chauffeurs, safety, maintenance, and reliable customer service. Before booking a Charlotte black car service, airport transportation service, or limousine company, verify that the provider carries the required commercial liability insurance, operates legally with proper For-Hire registration, and has an established record of dependable service. 1776CLT has served the Charlotte area since 1994, providing professional chauffeured transportation for airport transfers, corporate travel, weddings, special events, and private transportation.

Do you offer Convertible Child Car Seats?

Yes. 1776CLT offers six child car seats for families who need prearranged transportation in the Charlotte area. Our inventory includes three convertible car seats, two Graco Extend2Fit models and one Graco TriRide, along with a Safety 1st Grand five-point harness seat, a Chicco KidFit Zip Plus high-back booster, and a Diono Solana 2 backless booster. All six seats may be requested for larger families when available. Our child seats were purchased new by 1776CLT, are stored indoors, and are cleaned and sanitized after use. Seats are prepared and installed before pickup so families do not have to begin their trip by setting up car seats themselves. Our GMC Yukon XL is especially useful for families because its second-row bench seat provides additional flexibility for installing multiple child seats. Parents should provide each child’s age, height, and weight when making a reservation so we can prepare the appropriate seating in advance. More information about our dedicated child car seat transportation service is available here.

We also understand that parents, especially solo female travelers with children, may want additional reassurance before entering an unfamiliar vehicle. Upon request, we can provide the vehicle description, license plate number, and a photograph of the vehicle scheduled for the pickup. Passengers are also completely welcome to photograph the vehicle and license plate themselves and send that information to a family member or friend before departure. We understand those precautions and have no objection to them. Our goal is to make family transportation feel organized, comfortable, and secure from the time the reservation is made until everyone reaches their destination.

Do you serve Concord (JQF) Airport?

Yes. Concord-Padgett Regional also known as JQF.  We provide airport transfers to and from there.  Private aviation requests are also available for transportation needs in the Concord and Charlotte area.

Do you use your vehicles as "RideShare"?

No. Unfortunately, this is a common practice within the industry. Many transportation providers use their vehicles to fulfill rides for Transportation Network Companies (TNCs) such as Uber and Lyft during otherwise unbooked or “dead leg” trips. At 1776 Black Car Service, our vehicles are dedicated exclusively to our clients. We do not partner with or provide transportation services for any ride-sharing or Transportation Network Companies.

Do you have hourly minimums?

Yes. Certain services require a minimum number of reserved hours. Prom transportation is subject to a six-hour minimum, wedding getaway car service generally requires a two- to three-hour minimum depending on the location and details of the event, and concert transportation is typically subject to a four-hour minimum. Other special events may also require minimum reservation periods based on the date, location, vehicle, and type of service requested.

Drive time is included in the billable reservation time when applicable. Drive time is the time required for the chauffeur and vehicle to travel from the center of Charlotte to your pickup location and return afterward. For example, if your pickup location requires approximately 30 minutes of travel each way and you reserve six hours of passenger service, the total billable time may be seven hours. Although the customer is not inside the vehicle during that travel period, the vehicle and chauffeur are committed to the reservation. If you have questions about minimum hours or drive time for your event, please contact us for a personalized quote.

Can I bring pets?

Yes. 1776CLT is a genuinely pet-friendly and family-focused private transportation company serving Charlotte, North Carolina, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, and surrounding communities. We understand that for many of our customers, dogs and cats are not simply pets. They are part of the family, and traveling with them can make transportation planning more complicated. Our goal is to make that part of the trip easier. Whether you are traveling to or from CLT Airport, relocating, heading out of town, visiting family, going to a veterinary appointment, or arranging a longer city-to-city trip, we welcome passengers traveling with dogs and cats. For the safety of the animal, passengers, and chauffeur, household pets should travel in an appropriate secure carrier or travel crate whenever possible. Please let us know that a pet will be traveling when you make the reservation so we can properly prepare the vehicle and make sure the transportation arrangement is appropriate for your family.

One advantage of using a prearranged private car service with pets is knowing in advance that your dog or cat is welcome. Pet owners should not have to wonder at pickup whether a driver is comfortable transporting an animal or whether a last-minute transportation provider will refuse the trip. With 1776CLT, pet travel can be discussed when the reservation is made, allowing us to plan ahead instead of leaving an important part of your family’s transportation to chance. This can be especially helpful for airport transportation, early-morning departures, long-distance transportation, families traveling with children and pets together, or passengers carrying luggage, strollers, child car seats, pet carriers, and other travel equipment. Our larger SUVs and executive vehicles also provide additional flexibility for families who may be traveling with several passengers and a pet carrier.

Trained service animals are always welcome when accompanying their handler and are not required by our company to travel inside a pet carrier. If you will be traveling with a service animal, you are welcome to let us know when making the reservation so we can prepare for the trip, although we understand that service animals are working animals and an essential part of their handler’s independence and daily life. We want passengers traveling with service animals to receive the same professional, respectful, and comfortable transportation experience as every other customer.

1776CLT has placed a strong emphasis on transportation for families, children, parents, pets, and travelers who may need a little more planning than an ordinary point-to-point ride. We maintain multiple child car seats for families, welcome passenger-supplied car seats, accommodate pets in appropriate carriers, and welcome trained service animals. For families traveling with young children and a dog or cat, these services can often be arranged together so that everyone travels in one properly planned private vehicle. We believe family transportation should include the entire family, whether that means a toddler in a convertible car seat, an older child in a booster, or the family dog riding safely in a travel carrier.

If you are searching for a pet-friendly car service in Charlotte, NC, pet-friendly airport transportation to CLT, private transportation with a dog or cat, or family transportation with both child car seats and pets, please mention your needs when requesting a reservation. Advance notice gives us the opportunity to prepare the appropriate vehicle and make the trip as comfortable and organized as possible. At 1776CLT, families are not an afterthought, and neither are their pets.

Do you take credit cards?

Yes. 1776CLT accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, and supported NFC/contactless payments, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other compatible mobile wallets where available. A valid credit card is required to secure and confirm your reservation.

Unless other payment arrangements have been made in advance, your card will generally be authorized or charged before the vehicle departs for your scheduled trip. If you have questions about payment options, billing, or a specific reservation, please contact us before the trip so we can make sure everything is arranged correctly.

Do you allow smoking in any of the cars?

No. 1776CLT maintains a 100% smoke-free fleet. Smoking and vaping of any kind are not permitted inside our vehicles, including cigarettes, cigars, pipes, electronic cigarettes, vape devices, cannabis products, and any other smoking or vaping products.

Our smoke-free policy helps us maintain a clean, fresh, and comfortable environment for every passenger, especially families with children, business travelers, and passengers who may have allergies, asthma, or sensitivities to smoke or strong odors. If smoking or vaping results in lingering odors, residue, damage, or additional cleaning, the customer may be charged a cleaning or restoration fee to the credit card on file.

Do you charge a parking fee / road tolls?

Yes. Meet-and-greet service is available for airport pickups. Your chauffeur will park in the airport’s designated short-term parking area and meet you inside the terminal with a personalized name sign, making it easier to connect after your flight. Any airport parking charges associated with the meet-and-greet service are added to the transportation fare.

Road tolls are also charged when applicable. If a customer requests or agrees to the use of toll lanes, express lanes, or other tolled routes, including toll facilities on I-77, I-85, I-485, or other roadways, the toll amount will be added to the final transportation charge. For concerts, sporting events, weddings, entertainment venues, convention centers, and other locations where paid parking is required, the customer is responsible for the parking cost. In some cases, the customer may pay the parking attendant or venue directly at the time of entry.

How long have you been in business?

Yes. 1776 Black Car Service has been providing professional chauffeured transportation since 1994.  Back then we were called United Limousine LLC. Since then we have changed our name to 1776 Black Car Service.  With more than 30 years of experience, we have built a reputation for reliable, safe, and professional black car and limousine service throughout Charlotte and the surrounding areas. Our commitment to exceptional customer service, experienced chauffeurs, and dependable transportation has made us a trusted choice for airport transfers, corporate travel, weddings, special events, and private transportation.

Where does the driver meet me at the CLT Airport?

During a Meet-and-Greet airport pickup at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), your chauffeur will meet you inside the baggage claim area for a seamless arrival experience.  Your chauffeur will park the vehicle in the airport’s designated parking garage, walk to the terminal, and meet you on the Baggage Claim Level with a personalized sign displaying the last name listed on your reservation. This makes it easy to identify your chauffeur after your flight arrives.  As part of our Meet-and-Greet service, your chauffeur will assist with luggage, strollers, walkers, and other personal items before escorting you to your waiting vehicle. This premium airport pickup service is designed to provide a convenient, stress-free experience for business travelers, families, first-time visitors, and anyone who prefers personalized assistance upon arrival at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT).

Do you have proper city & state licensing?

Yes. Every vehicle in the 1776 Black Car Service fleet is fully insured and properly licensed in accordance with North Carolina state regulations governing commercial passenger transportation.  Our vehicles carry commercial liability insurance and display commercial license plates as required by law. In addition, all of our professional chauffeurs undergo background checks and drug testing to help ensure the safety, security, and peace of mind of every passenger.  We are committed to providing safe, reliable, and professional black car and limousine service for airport transportation, corporate travel, special events, and private transportation throughout Charlotte and the surrounding areas.

Do we have to pay for the vehicle while we attend a concert?

Yes. For certain services, you are reserving the vehicle and chauffeur for the entire duration of your reservation, even while you are attending your event.  During events such as proms, concerts, sporting events, weddings, and other special occasions, the vehicle remains dedicated exclusively to your reservation. Although you may not be in the vehicle during the event, it is unavailable for other clients and remains reserved for your use. This ensures your chauffeur is ready when you are and allows us to provide reliable, uninterrupted service.

We do not offer one-way pickup or drop-off service for concerts, proms, or similar special events. The following minimum reservation times apply:

  • Concert Transportation: 4-hour minimum

  • Prom Limousine Service: 6-hour minimum

  • Wedding Getaway Car Service: 2-3 hour minimum, depending on the venue location

  • Other Special Events: Minimum reservation requirements may apply

Our minimum reservation policies allow us to maintain the highest level of service by dedicating the vehicle and chauffeur exclusively to your reservation from start to finish. If you have questions about reservation minimums or event transportation, please contact us for additional information.

Do you provide private car service outside of Charlotte, NC?

We provide private car service to all neighboring cities and towns outside of Mecklenburg County including: Pineville, Matthews, Waxhaw, Mint Hill, Monroe, Concord, Huntersville, Davidson, Mooresville, Cornelius, Fort Mill, Rock Hill, and Indian Land.  Transfer service is available to and from other cities such as Raleigh RDU, Winston Salem, Greensboro GSO, Greenville GSP, Columbia CAE, Hickory, Salisbury, and Asheville.

Types of services you provide?

We offer three primary types of chauffeured transportation services: Point-to-Point, City-to-City, and Hourly As Directed.

Point-to-Point Transportation

Point-to-Point service is designed for local transportation within the Charlotte area. This includes trips within the I-485 Beltway and many nearby communities, including Pineville, Matthews, Huntersville, Mint Hill, and other surrounding areas of Mecklenburg County. Your chauffeur transports you from one pickup location directly to your destination.

City-to-City Transportation

City-to-City service is intended for longer-distance travel between cities. Examples include transportation from Charlotte to Raleigh, Greensboro, Asheville, Columbia, Greenville, or other destinations throughout North Carolina and the Southeast. This service is ideal for business travel, airport transfers, and private long-distance transportation.

Hourly As Directed Service

Hourly As Directed service provides a dedicated vehicle and professional chauffeur for the duration of your reservation. Your chauffeur remains with you throughout your trip and is available to take you wherever you need to go. This service is ideal for business meetings, corporate roadshows, shopping, sightseeing, weddings, special events, and any itinerary with multiple stops or changing destinations.

If you are unsure which transportation option best fits your travel needs, our team will be happy to recommend the most appropriate service based on your itinerary.

Do you offer "Direct Billing"?

Direct bill can be set up only for large scale corporate clients, depending on their account activity.  Retail clients are expected to have a credit card on file for final billing charges.

How are cancellations made?

Yes. We understand that travel plans and special events can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our business. All cancellation requests must be made by phone. We do not accept cancellations by SMS/text message or email. Speaking directly with our office helps ensure that your reservation is canceled promptly and accurately.

For airport transfers, corporate transportation, point-to-point service, city-to-city transportation, and most standard reservations, cancellations made at least two (2) hours before the scheduled pickup time are generally not subject to a cancellation fee. Cancellations received less than two hours before the scheduled pickup time may be charged the full reservation amount, along with any applicable expenses already incurred.

Wedding and prom reservations are subject to separate terms because the vehicle and chauffeur are reserved specifically for the event. These reservations require a 50% non-refundable deposit, with the remaining balance due 30 days before the scheduled event date. Proms are also subject to a six-hour minimum reservation. Because these dates are often in high demand and the reserved time may be difficult to rebook, standard transportation cancellation terms do not apply.

Concerts, wine tours, and other specialty or event transportation may also require deposits, minimum rental periods, and separate cancellation terms depending on the reservation. These requirements will be explained before the reservation is confirmed.

Child car seat reservations receive more flexible cancellation terms. No deposit is required specifically because child car seats are requested, and these reservations are not subject to our standard cancellation charge. There is also no cancellation charge when an airline flight is canceled, diverted, redirected, or missed. If you have questions about the cancellation terms that apply to your reservation, please contact 1776CLT before booking and we will be happy to explain them.

Do you charge for additional stops?

Additional stops may be added to fixed-rate transfer reservations when requested in advance and when scheduling allows. A stop near the original pickup or destination may be subject to a $15 stop fee. Stops that require additional travel or take the vehicle farther from the normal route may be charged $25, $35, or more, depending on the additional distance and time required.

Stop fees apply only to fixed-rate transfer service. Hourly “As Directed” reservations do not have separate stop charges because the customer has reserved the vehicle and chauffeur for a block of time and may direct the chauffeur to multiple destinations during that reservation.
