Can we bring Alcohol/Food/Drinks?

Due to sanitation reasons, we now no longer allow any snacks, food, coffee and / or drinks on board.  Water will be provided and as always you are welcome to have your own bottles.  We strive to have a clean fresh vehicle for all our passengers.  We deep clean our vehicles on a regular basis.  Please bear in mind any spills and/or mishaps will result in a automatic clean up fee charged to the card holder.  We wish for everyone to have a clean and safe vehicle.

Are not all sedan (Charlotte Black Car / Charlotte Black Truck) services basically about the same?

You would think so, but it is not that simple.  There are many factors to consider such as reputation, years in business, hours of operation, size and age of fleet, licensing and insurance, and back office  management.  Please use due diligence in choosing your Charlotte transportation service.  Please make sure the company you rent from has proper required liability limits and they have a “FOR-HIRE” tag.  

Do you offer car seats?

Yes.  We offer a LOW BACK booster, a HIGH BACK booster, and Two GRACO Convertible Child Car Seats.  All FOUR can be rented for large families.  Uber and Lyft do not offer child car seats in the Charlotte, North Carolina market.  For more information please see here.  We have a page dedicated to this service. 

Do you use your vehicles as "RideShare"?

No.  We see this all the time.  Many services use their vehicles with ride share companies to fill in their “Dead Leg” trips.  Our vehicles are ONLY used for our clients and we do not work with any Transportation Network Companies.

Where do I meet my driver (Charlotte Airport)?

If you are arriving at the CLT airport, your chauffeur will greet you in the baggage claim area with an identification sign.  Your chauffeur will help handle your bags and escort you to your vehicle. We assist with luggage, child strollers, wheelchairs / walkers.  We are pet friendly and love dogs and cats, they do however have to be in a carrier.  Service animals are obviously allowed to do as they please.  For private airports, please provide the tail number of the plane at the time of your reservation.  If the desk allows we may be able to pull up right next your private jet.

Can I bring pets?

Yes.  We are a pet friendly company, we do require that they be in a carrier of some sort however.  Service Animals such as Dogs are welcome.

Do you take credit cards?

Yes.  We gladly accept Visa, Master Card, Diners Club, American Express, and Discover card.  We ask for a credit card to hold a reservation.  It is charged prior to the vehicle leaving the garage location.  We do also accept NFC payments as of 2026.  

Do I get a payment receipt after the trip, will the driver provide me with one?

Yes, a payment receipt will be sent to you via email from our Accounts department within 2 days of the trip completion. The driver will NOT provide any receipt.  All charges are finalized by the office.  In some cases for Flat Transfers where the driver did a NFC Payment the receipt will be sent immediately. 

Do I need to call and confirm my reservation?

We will contact you 1-2 days before your reservation, if you are not contacted please call the office no later than the day before you are scheduled to be picked up.

If I book my reservation well in advance, do you still need my credit card info?

Our system does not accept reservations without a valid credit card number. We use the card to secure the ride in advance.  When a reservation is made a confirmation is sent out via LimoAnywhere.  

Do you allow smoking in any of the cars?

No.  All of our vehicles are NON- SMOKING.  

Do you charge a parking fee?

Yes, the driver will park his car in the short term parking and will meet the client inside the Airport with his/her name sign.  Road Tolls will be charged accordingly as well as any event parking at concerts or entertainment venues or parking decks.  

How long have you been in business?

We have been in business since 1994 serving the Greater Charlotte, NC region.

Do you have proper city & state licensing?

All of our vehicles carry liability insurance along with commercial license plates in accordance with the North Carolina state law.  Our drivers are drug tested and have been background checked.

Do we have to pay for the vehicle while we attend a concert?

Yes.  You still have to pay for the limousine rental time during your event, such as a prom, sporting event, concert or dining out, even though you are not physically using the black car service.  Although the vehicle is not in use, the it cannot be used elsewhere.  Travel time, the inconvenience of vacuuming the interior, cleaning glassware, and restriction of time makes it impractical to reserve the vehicle to another party during this down-time.  We do not offer Pick up or Drop off ONLY service for concert or events. Concerts carry a 4 hour minimum and Proms carry a 6 Hour minimum.  Wedding GetAway Cars carry a 2-3 Hour minimum depending on the event and location of the venue.  

Do you provide private car service outside of Charlotte, NC?

We provide private car service to all neighboring cities and towns outside of Mecklenburg County including: Pineville, Matthews, Waxhaw, Mint Hill, Monroe, Concord, Huntersville, Davidson, Mooresville, Cornelius, Fort Mill, Rock Hill, and Indian Land.  Transfer service is available to and from other cities such as Raleigh RDU, Winston Salem, Greensboro GSO, Greenville GSP, Columbia CAE, Hickory, Salisbury, and Asheville.

Do you offer "Direct Billing"?

Direct bill can be set up only for large scale corporate clients, depending on their account activity.

Do you charge for additional stops?

Yes, we charge $15 for a stop within the same vicinity as pick up or drop off location, $25 for a stop further from the way and $35 (and up) for a stop that is out of the way. NO CHARGES ARE ADDED FOR HOURLY SERVICES WHICH ARE “AS DIRECTED”.  Charges only apply to TRANSFER RATES.
