Once you arrive into Charlotte Douglas International Airport, you can be rest assured that your vehicle will be waiting for you. It usually takes about 10-15 minutes for domestic flights to deplane once the aircraft arrives. All international flights must go through customs of course, and its a guess as to how long it takes for clients to clear. For domestic flights we will be at Zones A,B,C,or D depending on which airline you arrived on. Please refer to this link for a airport terminal map.
Our chauffeur will be waiting for you in the “baggage claim area” with a name sign at the bottom of the escalators. Typically, US Airways Main Line almost always arrives at Zone C. There are many times however that it is at Zone B. Zone D / E is for US Airways Express Regional and Lufthansa / International flights. Zone A is where Delta and American Airlines arrive. United, and Continental arrive generally arrive at Zone B.
Charlotte, NC is the HUB for US Airways. If 20 minutes + have passed without our chauffeur making contact with you, then they are instructed to head to the “Welcome Center”. That area is located in the middle of the lower level between Zones B and C. We will then have the you paged on the airport PA system. As always we are available atif you should need any further assistance. If you are planning to head to Charlotte soon please call us. We would be delighted to come “meet and greet” you.
